Hello everyone, today’s share are two more of our team shoe box swaps from last month’s team training. This first card is designed by Stephanie Hansen and uses the Artisan Textures stamp set. We’ve used new and returning colours for this card with mint macaron, highland heather – a new favourite of mine, and petal pink.
We used the shimmery ribbon and pearls to embellish the card and the sentiments on the outside and the inside are stamped in memento black. The insert coordinates with the front as shown here.
This second card is designed by our Crafty Bears “Mama Bear” Paula Reid and uses the Animal outings stamp set. The paper is the ‘B’ side from one of the sheets of the Share What You Love designer series papers and the technique we’ve used is a ‘polaroid’ technique. The colouring is done with stampin’ blends.
We each chose an animal from this set – I went straight for the rhino – I’ve developed an affinity for the rhino in this set, another team member chose the giraffe – cheeky aren’t they, and someone else chose the kangaroo and koala – I’m convinced this kangaroo has an identity crisis.
These are very easy to make for a quick make and take so why not give them a try. Towards the end of the week I’ll share the final cards from the shoe box swaps.
