Hello everyone, today’s project is a fun lollipop card that would be great for kids or for a table decoration for a party, Christmas or a wedding. This is something a bit different and showcases the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and the bundle of love designer series paper. Cardstock used is the new very vanilla thick and berry burst along with the gold foil. Inks include berry burst, lemon lime twist, blushing bride and versamark.
To make the card you will also need gold embossing powder, a hot glue gun, a straw, some berry burst crinkled seam binding ribbon, Vanilla lace trim and 2 delicate white doilies. I have used the 2 1/4″ circle punch to cut out the berry burst circle s (front and back), and the starburst punch to cut the very vanilla circles. The die used to cut out the gold foil is from the May Flowers framelits and of course adhesive including dimensionals.
You will need two pieces of designer paper which should measure 12″ x 2″ and 6″ x 2″, and attach them end to end. When the paper is dry concertina fold the length of designer paper as shown and burnish. While that is drying gently sponge the doilies with blushing bride ink. Squeeze one end of the straw flat and insert between two folds of lollipop and attach with a hot glue gun. Hold firm until set well. With a hot glue gun attach one berry burst circle to the back of the card. Adhere the doilies together and attach to front of card and then attach the gold foil flower to the doilies with dimensionals. Attach berry burst circle to card front and stamp and emboss very vanilla card front, stamp and decorate the piece for the card back.Tie ribbon and lace around the top of the straw letting the ends dangle down.
I hope you enjoy this one, I think I might use it for Christmas.
Card number 3 is tomorrow so bye for now,
