Hi there, well Christmas has come and gone and we are heading towards another year in a day or so and I have started to make some birthday cards for people I know having birthdays in January. I get my inspiration for the cards I make from all sorts of places and this time a card by Brenda Keenan inspired me to make this card. I have used a technique known as masking which I also used for one of my Christmas cards this year, and again it’s quite an easy technique for a new crafter(or a seasoned one to do) . I often hear people struggle with ideas for masculine cards and I think this stamp set lends itself to a lot of different styles of masculine cards.
To make the card I used the following supplies:
Stamp set: Wetlands Cardstock: Tip Top Taupe, Lost Lagoon (retired), Whisper White Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso, Always Artichoke Other: sponges, trimmer, Kraft rope trim, adhesive
