Hi everyone, we are fast approaching the end of May when some of our much loved Stampin’ Up! products are retiring. One of the sets I will be sad to see go is the Botanical Builder Framelits which I use a lot and create all sorts of different cards – male and female cards alike. At our March card class held on Saturday we made two cards and for one of them used the Botanicals Builder Framelits as a starring attraction to cut out the flowers. The card base is mint macaron and the white mat used is whisper white thick. The whisper white thick cardstock is embossed using the Petal Burst embossing folder and the circles for the sentiment are cut using the stitched circle framelits and layering circle framelits. Whisper white cardstock is used for the insert and the flowers are embellished with white perfect accents and mint macaron enamel shapes.
Additional tools used are mint macaron ink for the sentiment, and the sentiment comes from the Cottage Greetings stamp set which is also retiring. The bigshot and plates were used to emboss and die cut, trimmer, scoring tool, adhesive, dimensionals and glue dots.
